No.

In fact, the strongest events don’t begin with a finished vision, they begin with structure.

At Alexandria Design House, we guide the entire process through a foundation-first approach, starting with spatial planning, flow, and direction before moving into design and materials.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You need the right process and leadership to build it properly.

Initial quotes are based on the information available at the time, including guest count, venue, and overall scope.

As the design and planning process develops, adjustments may be made to reflect changes in layout, materials, production requirements, or level of customization.

Two events of the same size can vary significantly depending on how the space is designed and what is required to execute it properly.

At Alexandria Design House, we guide this process with clarity and intention, ensuring any updates are aligned, transparent, and approved before moving forward.

Securing your date begins with alignment, not paperwork.

Before moving forward, we ensure there is a clear fit in direction, scope, and expectations. This allows us to lead the process properly and deliver a cohesive, high-impact result.

Once aligned, securing your date is straightforward:

A signed agreement

A retainer payment

Your date is officially reserved

From there, we begin our curation process and guide the entire experience from concept through to execution.

What should I expect to budget for high-end event design services in Toronto? Wedding and corporate event costs in Toronto vary widely depending on guest count, venue, and overall scope.

For weddings, most couples can expect to invest anywhere from $15,000 to $25,000 on average, with many full-service weddings reaching $70,000+ depending on the level of design, production, and customization.

Corporate events and brand activations can range just as significantly, typically starting around $15,000+ and increasing based on production requirements, guest experience, and scale.

At Alexandria Design House, our design and production services are tailored to each event. Investment is influenced by spatial layout, level of customization, materials, and overall execution. Two events with the same guest count can have completely different budgets based on how they are designed and produced. Investment is not based on items alone, but on how the entire experience is designed, structured, and executed.

Once your date is secured, we begin our curation process, a structured, foundation-first approach to designing and producing your event from the ground up.

1. Foundation & Alignment

We start by understanding your priorities, preferences, and how you want your event to feel. This is where we define the direction before any design decisions are made.

2. Spatial Planning & Event Architecture

We map out your event flow, guest movement, and layout. This includes floor plans, zoning, and how each area connects to create a seamless experience.

3. Design Development

With the structure in place, we develop the visual language, materials, florals, and overall aesthetic. Every element is selected with intention to ensure a cohesive result.

4. Production Planning

We coordinate logistics, timelines, vendor alignment, and all production elements required to bring the design to life. This is where everything is organized behind the scenes.

5. Final Review & Refinement

As your event approaches, we finalize details, confirm logistics, and ensure every element is aligned and ready for execution.

6. Execution & On-Site Management

On event day, our team leads the full setup and oversees production from start to finish, ensuring everything is executed exactly as planned so you can be fully present.

A successful corporate event begins with structure, not visuals.

At Alexandria Design House, we approach every event through a foundation-first method, where the purpose, flow, and guest experience are defined before any design decisions are made. Successful events aren’t built on decor. They’re built on structure, direction, and controlled execution.

At Alexandria Design House, we believe event design cannot be done properly without understanding planning and production.

Design and planning are not separate processes, they work together. That’s why we approach every event through event architecture, where one lead oversees the entire experience from concept to execution.

A design only works when it is built as a whole. Spatial layout, guest flow, logistics, and production all shape how an event looks and feels. Without that foundation, design becomes disconnected and difficult to execute properly.

By leading both design and production under one direction, we ensure every element is aligned, intentional, and built to function seamlessly.

Start with clarity, not design. Before choosing decor, vendors, or even a venue, you need to understand three things: your priorities, your budget, and how you want the event to feel. 1. Define the Purpose 2. Set a Realistic Investment Range 3. Establish Direction Before Details. At Alexandria Design House, we guide this process through a foundation-first approach

Completely. Every quote includes a detailed breakdown of design, florals, rentals, and production so you know exactly where your investment goes.

We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally once your date or venue is secured.

The earlier we are involved, the more effectively we can guide the structure, layout, and overall direction of your event. This allows for stronger design decisions, better vendor alignment, and a more cohesive final result.

That said, we can step in at different stages depending on availability. However, waiting too long can limit design options and production flexibility.
